Mother's
Day - May 11, 2003
We
saw the subway system in Los Angeles. And it is good.
We took
our first trip on the Metrolink Red Line into downtown Los
Angeles to visit the Museum of Neon Art, and we were officially
impressed.
We drove
from Pasadena to the North Hollywood station, parked the
car, walked downstairs, bought our tickets, stepped on board,
and the gleaming silver train whisked us to Pershing Square
in about a half hour.
Who
says L.A. can't do mass transit? We don't. The subway rocks!
It's fast, efficient, clean, and really fun.
